Our vision is to achieve energy independence, environmental responsibility, and financial benefits to communities.
We will achieve our vision through the development of utility-scale wind farm projects.
PPC Wind believes in the vision for the United States to achieve energy independence by 2030. Our economy is heavily tied to foreign oil – a reality that has caused economic instability. PPC Wind wants to partner with the US and State governments, local landowners and investors to create an alternative energy source. PPC Wind believes in the Department of Energy’s "20% Wind Energy by 2030" Plan. By creating alternative energy sources, the United States will no longer be reliant on foreign energy sources and will no longer transfer its wealth to foreign economies. Wind development is a part of our solution to a better future.

Fossil fuels leave a carbon footprint on our environment causing climate shifts and damage to our atmosphere. In addition, fossil fuels are not renewable; while our generation may not see the day those fuels run out, we need to start planning for future generations. PPC Wind is committed to smart and responsible energy production and use. Wind farms generate energy leaving no carbon footprint at zero fuel cost. Wind energy is a key component in preserving our planet and our energy supply while meeting our energy needs.

PPC Wind believes in building a stronger US economy by keeping the energy industry within local communities. Wind farms create local prosperity by broadening the tax base, creating new jobs, bringing new sources of income, and helping energy companies to meet expected and/or mandated energy production from renewable resources. In addition, local investors have an opportunity to invest in wind farm projects, benefiting their community while receiving a healthy return on their investment.
Wind farm projects require the joint efforts of just about everybody in a community. From landowners to local, State and Federal governments to energy-provider companies, wind energy takes a consortium of people working together. There are many opportunities to get involved:
Wind is becoming one of the main sources of renewable energy around the world. America's current generation from wind is 30,000 mega watts and is expected to increase exponentially in the next two decades. Wind will play an increasingly large role in our country becoming energy independent and revitalizing America’s rural economy. wecansolveit.org
Wind gives us the climate protection we all desire. 20% wind energy by 2030 is comparable to taking 140 million cars off the road. Wind energy provides clean, emission free electricity. 20percentwind.org
Wind turbines, once installed, generate almost free electricity; they require basic maintenance and servicing. This means wind turbines have a marginal cost of production close to zero. For example each additional kWh produced only requires more wind, but no additional spending. The cost of wind is essentially set at the time of construction. That cost is fixed and as the cost of electricity increases so does the return on your investment
The cost of electricity generated by wind has decreased dramatically and is now comparable to electricity generated by coal, natural gas or nuclear energy.
Production tax credits for investors.
Carbon credits as an additional source of revenue.
Economic developments in the form of new jobs, new industry, new revenue through electricity sales and associated growth and spending.
Zero fuel cost.
Additional source of income for local land owners.
Tax revenue, wind power generates an average of $10,000.00 in tax revenue for every MW of installed capacity. These dollars flow into the local community to help build schools, roads, bridges and other infrastructure.
Clean water. Wind energy conserves water 600 more times than traditional production of electricity with fossil fuels.
Land preservation and visual aesthetics, wind farms are spaced over a large area with virtually no impact on crop production and live stock grazing.
No carbon foot print, traditional production of electricity is a major source of air pollution, acid rain, global warming, radioactive waste and oil spills.
